Where's the Party in 2012?

Perspective on the Electronic Music Culture's relationship to the 2012 meme

For years a great cross-section of the human population has been curious about the date December 21st, 2012. Much of this curiosity has been recently satisfied through a multitude of books, films, and scholarly theory. However, another question remains in a curious mist of uncertainty.

Where's the party going to be the night of the grand Halabaloo?
In the summer of 2006 I began working on a documentary film as part of a project to finish my degree in anthropology. The subject of my research was the spirituality of electronic dance music culture. Having never been to an electronic music event, let alone listened to much electronic music, I traveled out to the West Coast of the United States for the first time with a handful of tickets to parties and festivals I had never heard of to document the mystical undercurrent of the scene.

A whole myriad of prophetic, esoteric conceptions and beliefs awaited.

Downstream from counter-culture, new age, and general psychedelic phantasmagoria, an ocean of free-form spiritual narratives created a web of neo-mystical realities, a whole multitude of micro-religious frameworks that all in some way weaved into the metaphysics of dance-floor transcendentalism.

As I trekked from party to party, whether they were intentionally spiritual gatherings deep in the mountains, or outlandish hedonic revivals in concrete jungles of urban society, I began to hear rumors circulate about a party on December 21, 2012. The idea of wild super-massive rave at an ancient ruin the day of our envisioned doomsday, as well as beginning, seemed to link to a general tone of prophetic belief that made up a major part of the esoteric trace within the rave community.

There was an obvious influx of mysterious ideologies circulating around the Mayan Calendar which permeated the scene. I immediately questioned the presence of so much Mayan mythology within the community, and also the adoption of the 13th Moon Dream Spell calendar. The Calendar, created from time codes hidden within the original Mayan Calendar, had stimulated a movement for peace through the adoption of a ‘new time' in New Age, and other spiritually bent fringe groups all over the world. The Dream Spell Calendar had also become prominent in the rave scene. Party flyers were dated with Mayan glyphs, Mayan art and other Mayan symbology was displayed around dance floor décor, clothing, and artwork, and other externalized traces of an internal belief structure manifesting within the scene.

Within the mathematical cosmogony of the DreamSpell, pervades the principle that our species is about to transcend ordinary third-dimensional existence, into a forth-dimensional, or in some translations, a fifth-dimensional reality.

It was a bizarre idea to encounter, and it was even more bizarre to have an ecstatic dancing experience progenerate this notion.

The adoption of the Dream Spell Calendar, also posts a neo-apocalyptic narrative circumventing the end-date of the Mayan Calendar in 2012, while at the same time hosting a mathematical philosophy of a major shift in human cognition through the transformation from which a higher-dimensional existence would ensue during our alignment to the center of the Galaxy on December 21, 2012.

I am at a festival called Lightning in a Bottle, an electronic music festival outside Santa Barbara. I am sitting with a group of people inside a tent between a propane lantern that blazes with a low electric hiss. The pumping thunder of mega-watt speakers' pound through the nylon tent walls. Just outside, a sea of people dance in a giant clearing amidst laser beams and flashing neon lights. The roar of their celebration amidst pulsating electronic rhythms echoes the futurism of a ‘techno-tribe' emerging.

From interview to interview, my own perceptual interpretation of transcendent ritual through festive cultural rupture rang a shared mental picture as to what the experience meant for people.

The owner of the tent leans over the lantern, shadows disappear from his face and he looks directly into my eyes and begins to speak with a tone of affirming gravity,

“This is my family. The world that we build out here is the real world for us. People say that 2012 is the end of the world, but we all know that it is the end of their world and the beginning of ours”

Through my ethnography of the electronic music culture, I had been observing a movement towards a primordial return, integrating a ritual technology as a mode of transformation. It was my belief that the kinetic engagement of the dance itself was the main source of esoteric undercurrents which permeated the scene. Of course psychedelics play a huge role, but the experience had on the dance floor created by intense movement and electronic dance music was the real cultural source for a shared vision of future transcendence into an alternate dimension of reality altogether.

The integration of the phenomena and phantasm that encompasses the self-guided dogma incorporated in the 2012 initiative weaves so neatly into the transcendental impression these sonic environments encapsulate. When looking closely at the initiative of the 2012 meme, a new world-view of collective spiritual transcendence is indication of the honest expression of the cultures internal desire to alter their perception.

In the face of a quickly changing environment which instinctually demands a transformation of the ways in which humanity both perceives and carries out his existence, the idea of global destruction and creation has long fed into the mythologies of human groups as apart of this internal expression for dramatic change.

Never before in the history of humanity have we seen a single millenarian idea so widespread. Yet, a prophecy of global transformation would require a global culture to bare its vision, and the electronic dance community appears to be one of the many appropriate carters of the revelation.

Another interesting facet of the integration of this new ‘mythos' with the electronic dance community, is the move to outdoor environments, and the integration of intentional ritual and ceremony to their night-long ecstasies. This juxtaposition gives the party experience an authentic communal, as well as tribal sensation, one that implies meaning and value to the experience. With this experience comes a temporary transformation of the perception of the individual undergoing the experience. Cognitive processes are gently and sometimes savagely altered.

As the techno-shamanic psychedelic environment integrates into a social-cultural framework, identities change on individual and collective levels as the music itself takes the mind of the individual into an experience of alternate planes of thought, the myriad of techno-tribal cultural identities swarm in around the dance itself, and reality is but for the instant of a weekend ‘shifted.'

The integration of psychedelics into these events allows one to further integrate their imagination into the experience of the environment that surrounds them, in a cyclical feedback relationship between the experience and the experience. Systems of belief and thought are replaced, both temporarily and permanently. The environment yields to an alternate dimension of being, and the experience, though brought on through an arsenal of synthetic arrangements, momentary replaces traditional perceptual frameworks. Memory of the experience remains and over time evolves cognition.

We live in what we believe to be is real. Every time someone experiences reality in the mystical playing field generated at these parties, the more the experience integrates back into the ‘familiar.' The concept of consciousness shifting, takes on a very subjective nature as dance ritual reinforces the pragmatism of the experience.

As conversation of a shift in the collective reality of the dance community ensues, the number 2012 pops up in more and more conversations. The party becomes a vehicle for the collective transformation of an entire human group as their collective memories build up a shared perception of a new experience.

It's an old trick in human behavior that corresponds with the inner workings of our minds. For thousands of years, cultures and their traditions all over the world have used music and dance as part of the ritual and ceremony for the integration, and stability of their tribal structures. Key to this article, it not only promotes community, is promotes the subjectification of their mythologies and their prophecies.

What man is actually interpreting through the development of a mythos is not an interpretation of a particular vision or story but the energetic experience of the dance itself. What one experiences in an ecstatic state of trance is the experience of their internal desires. Since our internal desires are primordial, they are instinctually connected with nature and the environment around us.

Thus, as our environment changes, and we see threat to our current cognitive processes and cultural value systems; the alteration of our belief structures through a hyper-onslaught of groundbreaking scientific information, the desubjectification of religious systems, a globalization of the sacred, the meltdown of the industrial world, and environmental threats, transformation of mind and spirit permeates the internal psyche within these spaces of liminality.
The tribal experience of dancing beyond the realms of the ego produce a strong feeling of connection with community through music, and the rupture of traditional cultural systems that seem to no longer be working. This creates a Petri dish for the development of new cultural frameworks and the reordering of the groups cognitive processes to better adhere to the changing environment. Dance is an instinctual human behavior to demoralize and reframe perception as a means of evolution of mind and body.

Myth is product of ritual, it is the interpretation of these eternal desires for change. Myth is the narrative of a primeval reality, translating deep spiritual desires, moral craving, social and the practical requirements for social transformation. Myth expresses, enhances, and codifies belief.

In turn, myth creates reality.

Consciousness requires narrative. Individual consciousness and the collective human consciousness requires the framework of a story in order to direct its initiatives for change. When one's current reality is threatened with drastic alteration it naturally begins to weave narratives of explanation that will offer hope and resolution to guide its actions through the transformation.

The millenarianism that is character of the dance community displays this very quality of the development of a transcendental mythology as a means of reframing its own cognitive processes to alter mind, body, and spirit to better suit our own personal interface with the environment.

Dance-based millenarian movements have happened throughout history, in cultures all over the world. When the Lakota Natives were threatened with oppression and reservation life, they immediately reacted with the development of a pan-Indian religion known as the Ghost Dance. It was characterized by the emergence of a prophecy that a particular ritualized dance would bring a peaceful end to the Anglo expansion, the return of the Buffalo, the salvation of the community, leaving the earth filled with food, love, and faith. This narrative was typified by clean living, honesty, and cross-cultural cooperation as a means of salvation and resolution alongside the dance itself.

For the dance community to adopt the undercurrent of a similar narrative proves a structural framework to the development of mythos as a form of cultural revitalization. Though the salvation of humanity and the world lies within our individual change in lifestyle as a means of adhering to the shifting environment, the characterization of death and rebirth into a new world fits the prophetic initiative as well: Salvation through dancing.

Though the dance community has added the awareness that the process of bringing about such change, will not come through a mystical transformation but through the cultural rupture brought on by the act of ritualized dancing itself. The intentionality of the culture reads into the natural magic of sound, and its influence on neurological states. Experienced within a large group it creates a bond of the collective psyche and the subconscious initiative of the group permeates through the experience.

Consciousness instinctively fabricates new translations of experience, the development of new ideas of origin, and prophetic direction.

Humanity naturally begins to weave new stories for itself as the environment surrounding the collective subject changes.

An interesting coincidence, in 1987 a event known as the Harmonic Convergence, was held by New Age groups all over the world to usher in an era of awakening into love and unity through divine transformation that would be fully awakened on December 21st of 2012. That same year of 1987 has historically been identified as the birth of the rave scene. It was the year that the ecstatic experience of a ritualized dance became popularized in urban youth all over the world, the beginning of a culture which defined its own initiative as a revolution of peace, love, unity, and respect, through the ecstatic unification of sound, mind and body as a collective group.

For years the numeric value two thousand twelve has been whispered on the edges of dance floors all over the world. It is most apparent in the psychedelic trance community as an underlying mythos that defines the revolutionary synergistic electro-fusion of mind body and spirit.. The 2012 narrative is a form of interpretation most commonly now used to define the experience and the worldview that permeates the reawakening of a primordial experience.

Again I am in-between parties, staying in a cabin in Mount Shasta conducting and interview with the Shan-man, owner of The Village Oracle in Weed, California. We are sitting out in the sun, the icy tip of Mt. Shasta beaming in the background.

We are talking about the integration of the 2012 mythology into the cultural framework of the electronic dance community, and the role that the parties actually are playing in the process of global awakening into a new mode of thinking. He describes the party as a welcome mat, “They are like a doorway in,” he describes, a doorway that leads into a mystical world of archaic, magical phantasmagoria that the experience of transition into indicates not only transformation of the self, but the world to follow.

He states later in the interview, “We know that we are all heading towards one huge gathering.”

What I see as one of the most interesting features of the 2012 initiative in terms of the electronic dance community is the idea of a synchronized global gathering on the date the calendar ends, December 21, 2012. On that date the earth lines up with the sun, which lines up with the Pleiadian Star system and the elliptic of the galaxy; a celestial alignment that the earth has never before experienced.

The Dance community already celebrates a model of this end-date ritual, called Earth Dance. This is another synchronized party linking 360 dance-floors all over the world as an intentional ceremony for peace. Though this ritual is conducted annually, the preparation for an even larger synchronized dance ritual to celebrate a celestial event as rare as our alignment to the center of the galaxy offers an interesting notion that humanity should very quickly becoming aware of. This will be the most massive, pan-human ritual ushering transformation in the history of human kind.

With the constant development of the mythos surrounding the 2012 meme, what will such preparation, and practice of such a ceremony alter of the consciousness of those participating in the ritual?

The alignment of dance rituals to celestial events is traditionally the source of a mythologies link to the stars. Which means, that our collective human narrative is fashioned and reshaped by the movement of the stars. Meaning that our collective human story is a translation of this energetic experience of the cosmos. How will the energetic experience of the alignment be translated?

The creation of new myth perhaps, a new story of human kind.
So to answer the introductory question, as to the location of the partyI have heard several rumors.

Some rumors have entitled it "The Party at the End of Time". The collective pattern of gossip seems to congeal to 7 principal locations.

There is word that these locations may very well be planetary chakra points. To my knowledge, these points are Titicaca Lake between Bolivia and Peru, Mount Shasta in California, Uluro Kattjuta, the big red rock in the middle of Australia, The Tor in Glastonbury, The Great Pyramid in Egypt, and Mouth Kailash in Tibet, and Kuh-e-malek Siah a not so tall mountain located in the Tri-point area of Iran, Afghanistan and Pakistan. These are the main points to my knowledge, however I have also heard of the Haleakala Crater, the El Tule, Table Mountain, Bali, Mount Fuji, and the Sergiev Posad in Moscow to be locations also.

Wherever the party is, and no matter what happens on December 21st 2012, the most important and beautiful part is that people from all walks of life, from all different cultures and countries will be United in a dance, a celebratory ritual to usher in the Galactic New Year, and a new dawn for mankind. Because when it comes to mankind's own part in the great theater of the 2012 alignment, if anything on our part is going to bring about any real and dramatic change, a massive global rave sounds like a damn fine go at it.

The 9th Wave ~ Finding Ourselves & Honoring Wisdom of the Past

So, here we stand, at the beginning of the 9th wave of the Mayan Calendar, which commences on the 9th of March and culminates on the 28th of October. According to the writings of Mayan Calendar authority, Carl Calleman, this will be the most intense period of evolution that the Planet has seen, and will result in Earth finally reaching Cosmic or Universal Consciousness. This is what Archangel Michael has been saying for quite a while, and the webinar/channel that We did with Jim Self on the 21st of December (Solstice) last year was specifically designed to assist people to prepare for this shift into Cosmic and Galactic time waves.

I am always so grateful to Michael for providing the information that we need before the time! At this point, the 9th of March, we will enter a more intense phase of this energy, as forseen by the Maya many centuries ago. I will be doing an online free webinar with my friend Sean Caulfield, in which we will briefly explain the essence of the Mayan calendar and the 9th wave, for those who are not familiar with this, and then do an activation with the Spirit Keepers to align with the incoming energies in a greaceful way that is filled with love and free of fear.

It is also true, that part of the process that we are passing through in this rapid period of evolution and change, is an integration of the wisdom of the Ancients and the Indigenous peoples. As Michael has said in many channels, this wisdom must be reintegrated into the Collective Consciousness before we can move forward. In our modern culture, we have lost our connection with Nature and with the wisdom of our ancestors, and so we are learning now how to reconnect and integrate this within our sense of Who We Are. It is necessary and it is a part of the "healing" of our Being back into wholeness and "Oneness". But, this morning I was reading through some information about a certain recently prominent teacher who has used the ceremonies and teachings of the Indigenous peoples in ways that some consider to be lacking in integrity. Now, while I do not want to get into that debate, it does occur to me that there is a tendency for people to want to "integrate" the wisdom of the past and of the indigenous peoples by becoming them in some way. In my travels around the Globe, I have encountered "Native Americans" in the Middle East and "Indians" in South America. What is it that makes so many people want to abandon their own culture and become something they are not? Do we imagine that if we dress in the clothes, wear the feathers and beat a drum that will magically make us into a powerful shaman?

In my own view, I think it is a symptom of our disconnection from Nature. In our consumerist culture we have no idea how to get back to nature and our inner connection with nature, and so we "borrow" from cultures that seem to be successful. I say "seem", because most of these cultures are as lost and disconnected as the rest of us, and are also seeking to reconnect with their past and their roots, whether they are Tibetans, Lakotans or Khoi-San in Africa. And so it is that so many of us are drawn into "dressing up" as Indigenous peoples and pretending that we have what they have, or what they had in the past.

I must admit that this was a part of my development as well. I have tried out being "Native American" and "Indian" and "African", and in the process have worked with some incredibly gifted and wonderful people and been taught by people I would call Shamans. I know Shamanic techniques and can use them in healing and ceremony, but I know that I am not an indigenous Shaman. I am a western educated person seeking to reconnect with my inner divinity and power and my connection with nature. And, surely this is what all of us are seeking, no matter what culture we belong to.

The essence of the search seems to me, not wearing the feathers and eating the mushrooms, but finding that deep inner connection in your own way. In a way that resonates with who you are and your connection to the Earth. This is what I have been teaching with Archangel Michael in the Webinar intensive that I am doing right now.

Certainly there are Shamanic teachings that resonate universally, I think. I am not that sure any more. When I do events and we work outdoors, I love creating a fire circle at night, or working with the medicine wheel as a way of introducing people the the concepts of elemental honor and connection. But I was aware, quite recently, of the rather strange energy of trying to introduce a group of Russian Lightworkers to the Medicine Wheel in a St Petersburg forest, just meters from a wooden church structure that represented the wisdom of the Russian ancestors. We did connect with the Elemental energy, we managed to create a thunderstorm that resulted in a power outage in the city of St Petersburg! From that adventure I learnt to be much more careful in working with elemental energies that are unstable, since at that time of the great fires in Russia the elemental energies were in a state of great instability.

What was given to me later, is that the connection with nature resonates most deeply when it is made from within and in a way that honors nature in the Heart. It is about the values of the Indigenous traditions, respect for Nature and honor for all living Beings. It is about learning to live together in Peace and to honor all with whom we share the Planet. In this time, it has become an urgent necessity that we rediscover the values of sustaining the Earth for future generations and not just taking what we need and not thinking of the damage we leave behind in our search for more. And yes, I do believe that doing ceremonies in nature that honor nature is an important part of this reconnection. But I think also that these ceremonies should be ones that we create from our own inner sense of who we are and how we relate to nature in the place where we are. And they should integrate who we are and where we are with a sense of the "now". We are not living in the Stone Age or in Tribes, most of us have to deal with the complexities of modern urban life and social organization as we make our way back to the "Mother"...our connection with Nature.

Certainly, the Shekinah Light, that has been coming to our Planet in increasing intensity in the last year, will bring us closer to the Divine Feminine within and assist our journey inwards to the "self" that is the Divine Flame of Love and Truth. It is within each one of us, and we can find that reconnection within, in the Heart space of Love. In fact, this is the only place that we will find it, and by accepting who we are and why we are here.

To honor the Indigenous ones, we must know that we are the ones we have been waiting for. And that we chose to born where we did and into the social groups that we did. In order to know the Self, we must first embrace who we are and why we are here. That is difficult for most of us if we are low on self worth. It is easier to dress up in a Romantic costume and to pretend to be someone else in another culture. But, sooner or later we will need to come home to ourselves, and be ourselves. And then....we will discover that we are All Things and that we are Connected to All Things.

We Are all that We Will Ever Need to Be. Right Here and Right Now.

Chapter 13 of the biblical Book of Revelation is a very revealing text. It refers to the number 666 as being the mark of ‘the beast’.

But, in the Periodic Table of the Elements, the atomic number for the Carbon element is six. Carbon is necessary to form all DNA and RNA, the chemical code of life as it currently exists. And the Carbon atom has six electrons, six neutrons and six protons.

" If anyone has insight, let him calculate the number of the Beast, for it is the number of a Man. Revelation 13:18 "

Dr. Max G. Lagally, BS, MS, Ph.D, is a Professor of Surface Science. In 2006, he began developing Silicon membranes in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. In his research, he has discovered that the surface of a Silicon membrane can be functionalized to become pH, or biologically, sensitive. He theorizes that it could bind DNA.[i] In other words, Silicon can support life.

At this time in history, we are evolving very rapidly as a human species. The evolution of our species, the Homo sapien, is a quantum leap to an immortal species with 48 chromosomes that have 12 physical strands of DNA and 10 etheric strands of DNA. Our three-dimensional biology is being alchemically shifted from Carbon-based matter into that of multi-dimensional Silicon Crystal.

Body of Light

Internally, all our cells are being changed from an organic structure to a Crystalline structure, the perfect prism through which Light can pass for illumination.

When a log of wood is placed in a fire, it burns down until all that remains is the Carbon element. But if a diamond is placed in a fire, its structure is retained. So all of our cells must be transformed from Carbon to Silicon Crystal so that we can withstand the tremendous amount of Light that will be streaming into the planet from the Central Suns in 2012.

Our Crystalline Light bodies will then convert that sunlight directly into electricity. This is what will power us. We will require sunlight – not food. Our Light bodies will be powered by Liquid Light. Mono-Crystalline Silicon will be the receiver and it will work in conjunction with the elements Gold, Palladium and Titanium.

Not everyone will experience this transformation, however. Many people will choose, at the soul level, to pass on before Earth reaches that time. Still others will leave because their body will lack the Light that will enable them to survive in the higher dimensional level. But those souls whose decision it is to change their Carbon-based cellular structure to the Crystalline form will accompany the new Terra Nova Earth into the Golden Age. They will be able to ascend without leaving their bodies.

In the New International version of the Bible, the first line of Chapter 13 of the Book of Revelation reads, ‘And the dragon stood on the shore of the sea.’ In the King James version, it reads, ‘And I stood upon the sand of the sea.’

Crop Circles & Energy Points : David Wilcock On Coast 2 Coast

In this brilliant discussion with George Noory on Coast 2 Coast AM, intuitive researcher, lecturer and filmmaker David Wilcock discusses his recent research on crop circles and energy vortexes. According to the work of Ivan Sanderson, there are 12 points (or 'Vile Vortices') around the Earth where ships and planes disappear, not just the Bermuda Triangle.

Storms tend to begin in these areas, which also exhibit gravitational anomalies and magnetic fluctuations. These points, via particles and vibration, affect the geometric shape of the continents and the atmosphere, Wilcock detailed.

This past July he traveled to England to observe crop circles first hand, including one formation that was octahedral in shape. While agreeing that some circles are human-made, he noted that researchers have found the soil under crop circles to have drier, looser consistency than the soil near by. Crystals have also been found in the crop circle soil, which could only grow at temperature levels that would normally be much too hot for the plants to survive, he said. "The reason why these crystals are forming and the soil gets so dry is that the technology that makes these circles involves drawing water up out of the ground," Wilcock suggested.

He connected the patterns of crop circles with the geometric processes of the Earth's vortexes. Further, some of the crop circles' symbolic messages have related to DNA change and soul evolution, as well as the downfall of the New World Order, he said. First hour guest, UFO expert Nick Pope reacted to the news that Winston Churchill covered up a UFO event because he feared mass panic in the UK. The incident, said to occur during WWII, was revealed as part of Britain's continuing release of formerly classified UFO files. However, Pope pointed out that this report was more of an allegation, and there was little documentation to back it up.

Friends in the Fields : Owen Waters on Crop Circles !

Every summer, in the south of England, grand and mysterious works of art silently appear in the crop fields.

This magnificent crop circle was formed right in the heart of crop circle country, next to Silbury Hill in the county of Wiltshire, England.

Measuring hundreds of feet in diameter, it employs symbols from the Mayan calendar to predict that the Mayan Fourth Sun era will end in the year 2012. It actually makes the same prediction in two different ways, so that there is no doubt as to the intention of this message.

According to the Mayan calendar, a new era of human consciousness will dawn in late 2012. To paraphrase astronaut Neil Armstrong, the shift of consciousness in the year 2012 is likely to be, "One small step for each human, one giant leap for mankind." Future generations will undoubtedly look back upon the pivotal year of 2012 as a turning point in the development of human consciousness.

A variation on the healing symbol of the caduceus can be seen in the above photograph on the left. Today, this famous Hermetic symbol is associated with medicine or healing. As a Hermetic symbol, it traditionally represented Hermes or Mercury. Mercury was the symbol of communications, while Hermes represented ancient wisdom and secret knowledge.

The white horse at Milk Hill can be seen behind the crop circles in these photographs. It was carved into the chalk undersoil 200 years ago and measures more than 200 feet in length. The 'tram lines' in the crops are access lines made by farm equipment.

The question is, who makes these grand works of art? Nobody seems to know for sure. They appear mysteriously, often just before dawn. Eye witnesses have reported globes of light 'dancing' above the fields as they make their patterns by swirling and flattening precise sections of crops.

Crop circles are not a new phenomenon. They have been documented as far back as the year 1678. In recent years, however, they have multiplied enormously. Since the early 1990s, observers have logged over 10,000 crop circles.

Each crop circle is typically huge, often several hundred feet in diameter. One even measured 800 feet (240 m) in diameter. Their design is often artistically brilliant.

And yet, they are not just art. They portray symbols of great mystical significance. Some of them are more obvious, like representations of the ancient Mayan calendar of time, or the human chakra system in the above photograph. The popular system of seven chakras is shown as (left to right) the root, sex, solar plexus, heart, throat, third eye and crown chakras. The symbolism of the crown chakra is easy to see, as are the third eye and heart chakras. Also, the root chakra symbol on the far left represents the fact that the root chakra powers the rest of the chakras with activated life energy.

Some crop circles have depicted formations such as galaxies, ancient Sanskrit letters, DNA-like double-helixes, asteroid belts, spiral nebulae and eclipses. Other crop formations are not so obvious to the left-sided, logical part of the brain, and yet hold tremendous right-brain symbolism relating to the shift of human consciousness. These symbols remind the inner consciousness of what it once knew but had forgotten. They are wake-up calls to a humanity in transformation.

Whoever is sending us messages through such transformational imagery is obviously helping us through a critical juncture in human history. Whoever they are, and however they form these beautiful crop circles so delicately and so quietly, I just call them, our "Friends in the Fields."

The Psychedelic Experience : Entheogens, DNA & The Double Helix Structure

It's not a widely known fact that Crick was under the influence of LSD when he discovered the double-helix structure of DNA and that this supreme achievement of scientific rationalism, for which he won the Nobel Prize, came to him in an altered, even mystical state of consciousness. Until his death in 2004 Crick remained an atheist, deeply committed to the materialist view of reality.

Nevertheless he was unable to accept that the DNA molecule could have assembled itself by accident. So he came to the idea that perhaps life originated on Earth this way: perhaps billions of years ago on the other side of the galaxy, doomed by a supernova, some ancient alien civilization sought to preserve its DNA, and he suggests that bacteria - perhaps with genetically engineered DNA inside them - were sent out into the Universe in spaceships. Eventually one of those ships crashed into the early Earth, and the bacteria containing that DNA began to reproduce, and the whole story of evolution as our scientists tell it started there. Once we have the DNA, evolution becomes plausible. Until we have the DNA, it's difficult to explain.

The Cosmic Serpent : DNA and the Origins of Knowledge is a 1995 non-fiction book by Jeremy Narby. Narby performed two years of field work in the Pichis Valley of the Peruvian Amazon researching the ecology of the Ash. Moreáninka, an indigenous peoples in Peru.

Investigating the connections between shamanism and molecular biology, Narby hypothesizes that shamans may be able to access information at the molecular level through the ingestion of entheogens, specifically Ayahuasca. Biophysicist Jacques Dubochet criticized Narby for not testing his hypothesis. Narby and three molecular biologists revisited the Peruvian Amazon to try to test the hypothesis, and their work is featured in the documentary film, Night of the Liana.

In my culture, the Celtic culture of Scotland and Ireland we have the story of King Arthur and his knights of the round table. They had to go on a quest to find the Holy Grail. The Holy Grail is a symbol of higher understanding. In this movie I go in search of a higher understanding by asking people as I travel on a world pilgrimage to give me advice. I meet people in very different fields such as anthropology, ecology, shamanism, physics and plant healing. I do two major pilgrimages. One in Shikoku was 1300km and the one in Peru was not long at all. It was high. We climbed to 5 thousand meters in the Andes with 60,000 native people to film the Qoyllur Rit'i pilgrimage. Rumi, my favourite poet speaks to us throughout the movie to remind us of our spiritual life as pilgrims. The film is a quest to answer the riddle of our times. Why is the Earth falling apart? The answer lies in the heart of each person.

The answer may be in our all becoming Earth Pilgrims ...

UFOs Angels and Gods : The Bible & Flying Saucers

UFOs, Angels & Gods is a documentary connecting the dots on UFOs and the Angelic realm of Gods and their Flying Chariots as mentioned in the Bible and various other ancient texts which speak of Extraterrestrial Gods who seeded life here on Earth, coming back from time to time to help humanity evolve and gently steer us away from the path of self annihilation.

Bible scholar, Barry Downing, firmly believes that biblical teachings were inspired by Extraterrestial beings who came to Earth in Flying Saucers. Downing was so convinced, he wrote a book about his theory called The Bible and The Flying Saucers (Lippincott, New York, 1968).

In the book, Downing says the bible clearly points out how UFOs played a strong role in the evolution of the Hebrew-Christian faith. For example, Downing believes the Scriptures suggest that Jesus' resurrection occurred when he was beamed up from Earth by a flying saucer.

Downing also believes that the bright cloud that led the people of Israel through the Red Sea, parting the waters and then engulfing the Egyptians, was a UFO.

The Author says it was space beings who spoke to Moses from the middle of a glowing thicket, and later spoke to Elijah outside the cave, forcing the prophet to shield his eyes because of the brightness. A UFO took Jesus away at the Ascension, and hovered over Paul and his followers on the Damascus Road, Downing contends.

Further, the author claims the three wise men probably followed a UFO to Bethlehem, since stars do not move or abruptly stop in the manner the bible describes.
